How to Organize Your Home School

Thus, the school at home - this is fantastic! Homeschooling is wonderful, we enjoyed a number of years and we love it. The great question - I have all this great stuff - where can I find? How do you organize your papers and pencils and pens and the little bear and small not Get Me Started on books, books oh my. I have the stuff, now I know how to organize everything.

First - breathe deeply and you know that you are not alone, either in yourHomeschooling journey or in your efforts to manage the madness and learn to organize.

The steps for the organization (aka How organized) are fairly straightforward. Imagine a jigsaw puzzle together. What do you do first? (Well, first open the box, but I'm out, we passed that part.) So what do you want seconds? Depending on the type of person you are, you begin to sort the pieces. The pieces with straight edges go to pieces without a battery and the straightBack to the bottom edge of the box. organize So our first step to learn how:

As with the organization STEP 1 - Sort (Woo Hoo, yes, I think trumpets and fanfare - this is exciting, we know where to start to learn how to organize)

Once done, you sort your items, we proceed to phase two. (I know, I know - do not say what kind or how to order or organize anything yet - which is then locked in this article. Right there.)
So what's nextWhat do you do when building a mystery? Maybe we do already and then just go away? We have all the pieces of the center (ie, net of straight edge pieces) before? No, before you make a border for our pieces. So, step two:

As with the organization STEP 2 - Building a border (more fanfare sounds of applause)

The border is currently under construction, but we're not finished yet. If you left the puzzle with only one line is not never get to enjoy the beauty. The same goes for learning toto organize. The construction of a border is great, but now you have to use it. How is a boundary? I am glad that you (OK, I asked myself, that I am asked, but if you'd be here I'm sure he would ask.) Use a border puzzle to give us information on the mystery. The line tells us how great the final product. It helps us determine where to go in pieces, and we can also see a light at the end of the tunnel. (I went from puzzles to trains, and soon will goagain. This is a mixed picture, but I digress.) As the third step is to organize:

As with the organization STEP 3 - Filling in the pieces

This makes sense if you think about a puzzle, after you have all this group does not sit straight-edge piece and wait. How does the organization? Remember to organize, as in way back - step one, where we were kind? These are our missing pieces, then filling the piece is, it is now setStuff away. (Yes, another light at the end of the tunnel) so that we're done, right? Finally we ordered the parts, we built the border, we filled up the pieces, our puzzle is complete. Right? Wrong! Sorry, but there is one more step before being organized. (Actually, I'm sorry, but it seems nice to say, is that it were otherwise - Bad Luck Buck, terminate, a girl.) What is the last step? Take a minute and think - if you are a puzzle, what do you cope?I leave you, where it is built? Take apart, so you can do it again another time? You smear goo on it so that it is a work of art for you depends on the wall? For the purposes of our analogy (ie compared to organize the construction of a puzzle to learn) We are going, so no, no, yes. No, leave it alone when it is - that only adds to the chaos. No, take it apart (not What? Are you crazy? "We just organized all this work always for the goodwell, do not take part.) Yes, we smear the goo so that it is a work of art. Now, before you get goo and I remember a real mess of things - which is an analogy. The Goo is in fact holds the stuff that holds together the puzzle and have fun. This is what we need - we want our newly organized sector to look beautiful. Thus, the final step:

As with the organization STEP 4 - the final phase - KEEP IT organization (I forget the fanfare for step three so let's just add here -Fanfare, fireworks and a laser show and a writer sky writing "you just learned the basic steps, such as organizing a".)

Now that we have climbed the "steps the organization" (aka How organized) together, we will see an example.

Note: If you are organizing a short period of time the project, then work your way through the steps have the job, but to organize in small sections. For example, organize, organize the first reason, then the shelves (in succession)etc.)

Step 1: Sort

This is the hardest part, but whether to organize and keep track of desires, it is really necessary. Let's head out to your homeschool room / area / closet and make some boxes with you. Start by checking the boxes as follows - Trash, sell donate / not in this area include - depending on the size of 'order that you may need more fields. Once away from your original style, he took his garbage, and move theDonate / sell boxes to another location (preferably from home). Now we come down to the nitty gritty of learning how to organize - in the next step we will begin our border, so that we in the situation, things are back in an organized way. Keep a box or two around so that all items you decide you no longer need to be placed in the box. If you watch a lot of items no longer needed, they sell them at a local convention site or online homeschool lbs.

If you are limited toEnter your school district, look in the house to see if you have storage all over the world. The number of school dropouts and products to a minimum, you can choose to use only what you use immediately (within a week, month, semester or year). To organize the items on a store shelf (if possible) or in boxes labeled. Label your boxes with their content so if you want to retrieve the information they need easy to find. An idea of how to organize the boxeswith the approximate year (ie the label of the first school class, etc.), the subject (mathematics, natural sciences) and the date you deposited the check box. If you find that one or more boxes have no use for a while 'if you sell the voice box, or donate items or need to maintain.

Step 2: Create a board

Since I have two rooms that look like school at home, I'm going to organize some of the basics of go-how, seehomeschool items are from there you should be treated in a fair and things can continue. If not, send me an email via our contact page and tell me your answer, how to organize your homeschool (or elsewhere), and try to be some support.

Books:

Living books, textbooks, workbooks, lab books, notebooks, books, chapters, books, first reader, picture books, puzzle books, books, teachers, school books, books for homeschooling, books, books,Books - If you homeschool, you have books. The problem is how to organize all these books?

One possibility, depending on the room is a library. We built a set of shelves and racks are custom built into a cabinet with shelves and wood from our local hardware store. Homemade shelves are fairly easy to do and if you do not cut the wood for the equipment at home, cut the pieces, most retail stores for you (fee), so be sure to what extentbefore you go. (Measure twice, cut once - otherwise must be measured once, cut once, buy a couple more ...)

If you want other options shelf organizers can be mounted on cubicle shelf options, or a wall look like shelves. There are a number of options available, so take your time and try to determine the best idea on how to organize your books. (After all you have to live with her, I do not know)

Supplies:

Supplies tend to multiply, it starts with a few feathers, then they willsomehow grow in dozens of bays. The decision on how to organize these materials vary from school to home to homeschool. Below are a few tips and drawer in a different way to organize the different deliveries. Use this article as a springboard for the border style. Be sure to use Step 3 for information about using a label maker to help you learn how to Organize boxes, boxes, drawers and an easy to read.

Wide drawers hold paper, pens and workbooks. Idrawers open when I was trying to decide how to organize the supply of laboratory. One of my drawers for live experiments, this does not mean that I keep frogs or bugs here but I use it to organize food for fish and frogs, plants for seeds and other supplies. Another drawer is our Explorer Gear tray that contains a pair of binoculars, small networks, a small bug habitat, and other supplies. Large drawers are eligible to the storage area of plastic or craft section to find. These areRule 12 x 12 so they are ideal for books and newspapers.

Mini drawers are great for organizing pens, pencils, paper clips, rubber bands and all the benefits of a small office. If you can be sure drawers and check the information provided on the drawer sizes before buying online. For example, on some sites seem bigger drawers, open wide the mini-drawers, but this is not the case in real life. Check your position by measuring chamber, then see drawers in shape. (GrandSchool Project home - to make children and oversized to fit the area of space and the drawer is best)

shoeboxes can not seem to have a room in your home school, but are wonderful for the organization. If you find such mathematical manipulation, games and scientific equipment, organize thinking shoeboxes. Items can be easily organized and how they cover the boxes are stackable. When you try to box, you will need to clear boxes easy to seeIdentification of the items where, if we take the constant round of boxes to find out what needs to be in the box will soon give up your organizational system. You want to have boxes, lids. During might look nice with baskets, they do not stack and if something is wrong but from the shelf to make a terrible mess. To have an additional reason for boxes with lids, is that you learn to organize, and it is very easy to learn, early in the process, how to organizefall back into old habits. Box without a lid becomes a dumping ground for little things.

to organize a decorative way, includes the use of baskets (I said I do not know to use baskets, but after learning how to organize, can start looking for other ways, such as baskets. Just be sure they are very specific things . We have three baskets slide under a long table in front of the house, these baskets are our library. Only library books and check out places inBaskets. You can also use the room door, adding something like a 15-pocket organizer, or a file folder holders. We also Toy Organizer Kids' and storage space, but not used in the classroom. It 'started school, but then I discovered that it works so well, as there are no lids. In room organizers keep children toys work very well organized, but it depends on the age of your children and the diversity of your deliveries. Teach your children how to organizeown things now, it saves time.

Step 3: Filling in the Pieces

Now is when you start new things. One element that I found a great organization is the label of a manufacturer of instrument. Some examples are the DYMO Label Maker Label Maker personnel or Brother P-touch electronic labeling system. You can also print Avery mailing labels. The point is, you need to be labeled in a way. What do you want to label? The short answer is: everything. AllBoxes, drawers and pockets, you should have a label. In this way, if you find an empty box, you know what really being there. Also, if your storage area you can look at a glance, what you see. Where else can these labels? 3 ring binder! If you know how to organize different binders in the same room (usually buy as a multi-pack, so that all look the same) without any binding you want to open its content to determine a label put on the spine and eliminatethis problem.

Step 4: The final step - How to organize the thought that you can stay organized

Once you learn to organize as you must learn to keep them organized. A simple organizational system makes it easier for you to keep organized. One way I know this is by labeling my boxes at both ends so that when they organize the children on the shelf (see - education, such as children) back, no matter, because the field at both ends labeled. AnotherSo I think the mom is organized with one section and a section for children. In the children's section there are items that children can use and learn with them, under Mom's the things that I think they need help. This may change the age of your children. Remember, if you live alone (and when you homeschool, you do not live alone) You're not the only one who knows how this should be arranged. If everyone knows how you will organize your life much easier.

TheBottom line - turn fun to be your school camp at a place arranged so that you all spend time there. The Organizing Committee should not be difficult - you take the time to look through your stuff. Keep what you want to get from what you do not organize and what it is, then all you need if you can find links to free.
